Speaking a Text File Using the Dtsample Applet

Double click the Dtsample applet icon. (2)

Step 2

Pull down the Language menu and select the language of your choice

Pull down the File menu and select Open. (4)

The Open a File dialog box is displayed. (5)

Select the file you want DECtalk Software to speak. (6)

The file is displayed in the Dtsample applet dialog.(7)

Step 5

Click the start button.

DECtalk Software starts speaking the file.

Click the Pause or Stop button as needed.

DECtalk Software pauses or stops the speaking session.
