You can also increase and decrease the rate at which DECtalk Software speaks a file or a section of a file.

Use the mouse to position the pointer on the rate slider bar. Press the left mouse (MB1) and drag the slider to the left and wait for the speaking voice change to occur. Then drag the slider to the right (5) |
The speed at which DECtalk Software speaks the file changes. It increases if you drag to the right and decreases if you drag to the left. The rate in words per minute is displayed to the right of the slider bar. Changes in the speaking rate occur only on a clause boundary after all the previously queued audio has played. |
